Support Local

Our local theatre group, Pine City Heritage Players, is amazing. The show this summer was "Into the Woods" and it did not disappoint. The set, the costumes, the acting, and those treats during intermission. WOW! :) I was honored to have a cake pop bouquet for preorders and well as a few for purchase during the show. Some theme cupcakes were also ordered for opening night for the cast and I had an ad in the program. It is nice to be able to give back to the community while also being supported by the same.

Flavor Testing

A friend brought me a jar of orange marmalade thinking I might be able to use it in a cupcake. I asked my fb followers their favorite orange pairings and the hands down winner was chocolate. Other ideas were cranberry, champagne, almond, and ginger. I opted to go for a dark chocolate cupcake with an orange marmalade, ginger, and cream filling. I then topped it with an orange tinted frosting ball with a stem and a leaf. I'm looking forward to delivering these to my contest winner.

Pine City Chamber Fundraising Event

I had a great time meeting some new customers and connecting with old ones. The night was a success on many fronts. Here is a picture of my setup. I sampled 2 mini cupcakes and 3 different cupcake ball truffles. There was a lot of positive feedback and my Irish 5th Street cupcake got rave reviews.
